On September 18th, 2023, coinciding with the inauguration of UBM Tower, the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University Serpong campus also held a public lecture entitled “The Taste of Italian Cuisine” the Public Lecture activity also invited a speaker named Pier Luigi Calisai, he is the owner and Executive Chef of the Spaghetto Pasta Pizza, not only that, he has also bepengalaman for 15 (fifteen) years in the field of Food & Beverages Industry, especially in Authentic Italian Cuisine, this public lecture was held at the UBM Master Kitchen Serpong campus on the 10th floor (ten), at 09.30 – 11.00 and moderated by one of the lecturers from the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Bunda Mulia University Serpong campus, namely Rendy Sarudin, S. TR.Par., M.Par.
Public lecture activity“the Taste of Italian Cuisine”is held required to active students who sit in semester 5 (five) Hospitality & Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University, in this public lecture activity, active students of semester 5 (five) Hospitality & Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University Ancol campus also participated in attending in Hybrid way, and active students of semester 5 (five) Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Bunda Mulia University Serpong campus participated in attending in Onsite way, so that the number of participants present in this public lecture can reach a fairly high number.
The speaker also provided material containing knowledge with the title “The Taste of Italian Cuisine” he also did a Live Cooking menu Strozapretti vongole e Botarga, after finishing delivering the material and Live Cooking was also opened a question and Answer Session so that students can ask directly to the speaker on topics related to Food & Beverages, especially Authentic Italian Cuisine and as a closing, participants of this Public Lecture are also required to fill in the presence of attendance through Google Form that has been provided by the committee and also done documentation with all participants who attended this activity, with the general lecture activity is intended to provide more understanding to students about food processing, especially learning aboutAuthentic Italian Cuisine.
