Proud! Innovative Work by Lecturers and Students of the UBM Management Study Program Reaches the International IHEIID 2025 Competition
On Thursday, August 7, 2025, the Closing Ceremony of IHEIID (International Hospitality & Education Invention Innovation & Design) was held, organized by Universiti Teknologi Mara Cawangan Terengganu in collaboration with Universitas Islam Negeri Salatiga and Universitas Bunda Mulia.
The event began with an opening by MC Ameleya binti Mohammad Ghazali, who greeted the audience via the live-streamed YouTube platform. After the opening, the event proceeded with a prayer for the smooth running of the Closing Ceremony.
The event continued with a speech from the Deputy Rector of Academic Affairs, YBrs. Prof. Dr. Azman Che Mat. Following that, the MC presented speeches from representatives of each participating university.
The first speech was delivered by the Rector of UIN Salatiga, Prof. Dr. Zakyuddin, M.Ag., followed by a speech from the Vice Rector of Academic Affairs of Universitas Bunda Mulia, Kandi Sofia S. Dahlan, M.B.A., Ph.D., and concluding with a speech from the Rector of Universiti Teknologi Mara Cawangan Terengganu, Dr. Ermeey Abd. Kadir.
After the speeches, the event continued with the presentation of several research products from participants, followed by the highly anticipated announcement of the IHEIID 2025 winners. There were three categories of awards: bronze, silver, and gold, as well as special awards.
Lecturers and students from the Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia, Ancol Campus, successfully won the Bronze category award for three papers submitted as follows:
- Paper 1 (IHEIID-A 009): Umami Crunch: The Impact of Flavor Enhancers on Culinary Trends and Consumer Preferences, authored by Antonius Rizki Krisnadi, Tannia, Devica Pratiwi, Reynard Makarawung, Hans Paskah Chandra, Livia Evangelina Florencia, Styven Edricsen.
- Paper 2 (IHEIID-A 010): The Perception of Tropical Purity: Consumer Acceptance of Halal Wine Alternatives, authored by Prayogo Susanto, Lelly Christin, Julius Sutrisno, Theresia Olivia, Rudi Hartono, Aulia Nasywa Shafira, Derick Raditya.
- Paper 3 (IHEIID-A 011): NutriNoodle: Assessing the Health Benefits and Market Potential of Nutrient-Enriched Noodles, authored by Yudhiet Fajar Dewantara, Elkunny Dovir Siratan, Devi Yurisca Bernanda, Agung Stefanus, Yunitalia, Chealsea Cicilia Lee, Willy Dozen.
After the announcement of the winners, the event was concluded by the MC. It is hoped that the IHEIID 2025 will inspire the emergence of new product innovations and fresh ideas that can help address various public issues. “Stay Innovative, Stay Productive, Stay Creative.”
