The Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University Serpong Campus held a Community Service Activity with the theme “UMKM JUARA: Accelerating Business with Effective Marketing Strategies, Smart Conflict Management, and Financial Planning and Technology.” The event took place at the Mawar RW.03 Cipondoh Indah Health Post, Cipondoh Subdistrict, Tangerang City. The community service activity was conducted in two sessions: Session 1 on Saturday, May 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM WIB, and Session 2 on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. The participants in this activity were SME entrepreneurs from the surrounding area, totaling 34 people, both in Session 1 and Session 2. The speakers for this community service activity are lecturers from the Management Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia: for Session 1, Dr. Oloan Situmorang, M.M., and Mrs. Lilis Susilawaty, S.E., M.M., and for Session 2, Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, S.E., M.M., and Mr. Budi Christanto, S.E., B. Bus., M.M. Both speakers were accompanied by five active students: Jason Christian, Christian Gregory Go, Stevani, Charlize Angel Tjandra, and Chelsea Virya Gillian. The event was opened by the MC and began with a welcome address for RW.03 Cipondoh Indah. The event continued with a speech by Feby Lukito Wibowo, S. Si., M.M., M. Si., as a lecturer at Bunda Mulia University Serpong Campus. After that, the MC introduced the speakers to the participants.
In session 1 of this Community Service Activity, the discussion focused on Financial Planning and Conflicts in MSMEs. This discussion was presented to help the community understand the importance of proper financial planning and record-keeping, separating personal and business finances, familiarizing themselves with digital payment technologies, and accessing safe financing options in the Financial Planning module. The subsequent material presented several key points to be discussed, including the importance of conflicts in the workplace, the importance of resolving conflicts, conflict resolution methods, and what is permissible and impermissible in workplace conflicts.
In addition, steps in the conflict resolution process were also taken. The speakers also explained how to manage finances properly and how to deal with conflicts faced by each business run by MSME players.

Session 2 of this Community Service Activity discussed access to Fintech Capital, which can help MSMEs obtain capital more easily and quickly through online loans, crowdfunding, and peer-to-peer lending, as well as various payments and transactions that help MSMEs provide digital payment platforms such as e-wallets and mobile payments that increase business efficiency and expand customer reach. Additionally, the session addressed marketing aspects, including the process of creating value through products/services tailored to customer needs, the reasons for purchasing (when benefits outweigh costs), and finally, the Marketing Mix: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion.

The material presented by all speakers was easy for the audience to understand, and the speakers provided real-life examples that often occur in running a business, which also increased the audience’s enthusiasm, as seen in the question and answer session. The community actively asked questions, and the speakers were able to answer them in detail and in an easy-to-understand manner. The moderator guided the session well, ensuring that the question-and-answer session was focused and informative. The event concluded with a joint documentation session, and the MC expressed gratitude to all participants who attended.
