The Informatics Study Program held a Tentier activity ahead of the Mid-Semester Exam (UTS) for the Even Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Year in early March 2026. This activity is an academic initiative designed to provide material reinforcement as well as learning assistance for students, especially those in semesters 2 and 4. Tentier is present as an additional study space that is more relaxed but still focused, helping students face the UTS with more thorough preparation.
Through this activity, the Informatics Study Program offers several tentative classes focused on core subjects known for their high complexity. Available classes include Linear Algebra, Mathematical Logic, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, and Computer Architecture and Organization. Course selection is based on student needs and academic evaluations from the previous semester.

Tentier is conducted interactively with a more hands-on approach than regular lectures. Students not only receive a re-explanation of the material but also have the opportunity to discuss practice questions, case studies, and effective problem-solving strategies. The classroom atmosphere is designed to be more relaxed so students can freely ask questions and explore their understanding.
The students’ enthusiasm for this activity was evident in the high participation rate in each tentier session. This demonstrates the urgent need for supportive and adaptive additional learning spaces, especially as academic evaluation periods such as midterm exams approach. The instructors and teaching assistants also played an active role in ensuring each participant received an optimal learning experience.

With this tentier activity, the Informatics Study Program hopes that students will improve their conceptual understanding, strengthen their academic preparedness, and achieve the best results on their midterm exams. This program also demonstrates the study program’s commitment to supporting student academic success through various ongoing learning innovations.
