Jakarta, October 2, 2025 – Bunda Mulia University (UBM) successfully held a public lecture titled “Le Goût de France – The Taste of France” on Thursday, October 2, 2025. This event aimed to introduce the unique flavors of French cuisine and the philosophy behind it, which has been recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage. The lecture was attended by students from the S1 Hospitality and Tourism program, particularly those specializing in Culinary Arts and Innovations.
The event featured prominent speakers, including the Ambassador of France to Indonesia, the Attaché for Education from the French Embassy, as well as representatives from the Institut Français Indonésie and the Monin Syrup Team. The speakers shared valuable insights into the history of French cuisine, unique cooking techniques, and its application in modern hospitality. In addition to the lectures, the event included a beverage demo by the Monin team, allowing participants to experience firsthand the use of French culinary products.
The event garnered high satisfaction levels from participants, reflecting the enthusiasm of students towards international cuisine. Attendees expressed that the lecture expanded their knowledge of French cuisine and deepened their understanding of how to apply these culinary principles in the hospitality and tourism industries.
