On Saturday, March 12-21, 2021, at 10.00 – 13.00 WIB, the Hospitality and Tourism study program has held the Bali Tourism Polytechnic Competitions 2021, which is a series of competitions held by the Bali Tourism Polytechnic Student Senate in collaboration with the entire Study Program Student Association in order to celebrate The 43rd Anniversary of the Bali Tourism Polytechnic. Various competitions in the Bali Tourism Polytechnic Competitions 2021 can be participated by students from all universities in Indonesia. Food Business Plan Competition which is participated by:
Where they compete from 18 participants from universities in Indonesia. From the top 18 Kemidian entered into the top 10 where it started judging. In this competition, the UBM Team created the Ng’Liwet Food Business Plan concept where the concept of authentic Indonesian food from Solo was then combined with other Indonesian specialties where an example was Nasi Liwet Ayam Sambal Matah (Solo-Bali). Nasi liwet dendeng belado (solo-padang), cakalang fish liwet rice (solo manado, black squid liwet rice and original liwet rice containing tofu and tempeh.
In this activity, it was carried out online, all of which made the concept of the food that was served by the participants to the jury. In this opportunity, the UBM team won First Place with the acquisition of number 71.6 and this is a slight difference with the host competitor, the Bali Tourism and Tourism Polytechnic with 67.5 points. In this activity, there was also a competition between the departments in the polytechnic. Congratulations to friends who have taken part in this competition!
