Tangerang, April 18, 2026 – Taekwondo Student Activity Unit (UKM) of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, in collaboration with the IDTF Taekwondo Community, held a workshop with the theme “Color Belt Pattern & Injury Prevention” on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at The UBM Sports Hall, UBM Tower, 10th Floor, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM WIB. This activity was carried out in an effort to increase the insight and knowledge of members and students regarding Taekwondo color belt patterns .

This activity was also attended by participants from various regions including the Greater Jakarta area and its surroundings. The workshop activity began with an opening by the UKM Taekwondo Serpong Campus committee, followed by a welcoming speech from the chairman of the committee by Sabeumnim Kevin Kosasih . Next, we entered the core of the event, namely the presentation of material by Master Mariusz Steckiewicz . As a background, Master Mariusz Steckiewicz comes from Vietnam who has a DAN VIII Taekwondo ITF Master level. The discussions presented at this workshop were Pattern material, Basic Movement Techniques, Philosophy of various Pattern movements, and Injury Prevention .


Throughout the event, participants engaged enthusiastically and actively. Their enthusiasm was evident in the active interaction and engaging questions raised at the end of the session regarding the material presented by the speakers, particularly regarding Taekwondo pattern movements.

Through this activity, the Serpong Campus Taekwondo UKM hopes to increase the knowledge of participating members about ITF Taekwondo, a martial art, maintain relations between Taekwondo communities across regions, and increase students’ interest in understanding the philosophy and basic techniques of self-defense in depth.
