Tangerang, June 14, 2025 – The Catholic Spiritual Activity Unit, known as KMK UBM Serpong Campus, held a Pilgrimage and Retreat with the theme “Bring Me the Light✨: Walking with Christ, Finding the Light of Faith.” This theme reflects the journey of faith of a Catholic seeking to emerge from darkness, doubt, and the challenges of the world into the light of Christ’s love and truth. It emphasizes that in life’s journey, we do not walk alone—we are always accompanied by Christ. The Pilgrimage and Retreat took place over two days and one night, from Friday, June 13 to Saturday, June 14, 2025.

On the first day, all participants went on a pilgrimage at Taman Doa Bunda Maria Keluarga Kudus, Cibinong. All the committee members and participants took part in the Stations of the Cross to reflect on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ for us. This was followed by the retreat activities, held at Villa ABL. During the retreat, participants listened to a session presented by Eubisius Vercelli Ocvanto Kuncoro, with the theme “From Darkness to Grace”, which invited everyone to overcome doubt in life and discover God’s love. The committee and participants also played a series of games across five different stations to build unity and camaraderie among KMK members.

In the evening, participants listened to a second session with the theme “Walking in His Light”, which taught the importance of living in faith and having the courage to witness to it in the world. This was followed by a night prayer and self-reflection session, and then prizes were awarded to the groups that participated actively in the event.

On the second day, activities began with warm-ups and a morning walk around the villa. This was followed by the closing Mass, led by Fr. Agustinus Djeramu, CM. In his homily, the priest encouraged everyone to live in honesty, so that our words and actions may be trustworthy in the eyes of others.

May this Pilgrimage and Retreat strengthen and unite the bond of brotherhood among KMK members, encouraging mutual respect and continued solidarity. The event also invites us to follow the example of Jesus in our daily lives. Thank you to all parties who were involved and supported this event, making it a success.
