Jakarta – February 25, 2023, the Spiritual Activity Unit (UKR) consisting of the Association of Islamic Student Families (IKAMI), Catholic Student Family (KMK), Dhammamitta Buddhist Student Family (KMB Dhammamitta), and Jesus in My Campus (JIC) held a Tolerance Talk Show with the theme “Together In Difference”. This event was held online via Zoom Meeting from 19.00 to 21.00 WIB and was attended by 200 student participants from Bunda Mulia University. This Talk Show is the core event of a series of events organized by the 4 UKR joint committees which included a Blood Donation activity held on February 10, 2023. This blood donation event was carried out in collaboration with iCare Student Activity Unit and the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) North Jakarta Branch. The enthusiasm of the participants in donating blood was very high among employees, lecturers, and students, with a total of 100 bags of blood collected. The next series of events was a Social Assistance (BANSOS) in the form of a donation given to the Melania Pademangan Nursing Home. The BANSOS event was the handover of donations collected directly to the Chairperson of the Melania Pademangan Nursing Home on February 23, 2023, at 13.00 WIB.
The UKR joint activity with the theme of Tolerance was created as a reminder that every individual has their own uniqueness and background. Through differences in ethnicity, religion, and race, tolerance can be made beautiful. This activity was created as a form of realization and contribution of the UBM (Bunda Mulia University) Spiritual Activity Unit to tolerate in human values.
This event has been successfully implemented, and we would like to express our gratitude for all the support given by the entire academic community of UBM and the parties who have helped make this event a success.
