Jakarta, April 16, 2026 – In an effort to strengthen the competency of human resources in the banking sector, the Bunda Mulia University Master of Management Study Program held a Community Service (PKM) activity entitled “Maintenance of Risk Management Certificates, Competency Level 4.” This activity was carried out through a strategic collaboration with Bank Sinarmas and FiRM as the organizing institutions recognized by the Banking Professional Certification Institute (LSPP). The activity, which was packaged in the form of a webinar, was attended by 49 participants who are banking practitioners from various work units. This program is an important part of supporting the maintenance of Risk Management Certificates (SMR), which requires certificate holders to continuously update their competencies to remain relevant to industry developments, regulations, and best practices in the field of risk management.

As the main speaker, Dr. Ferry Novindra Idroes delivered comprehensive material related to the implementation of risk management in the banking industry. The material presented covered the process of risk identification, measurement, mitigation, and effective risk control strategies in facing dynamic business challenges. The systematic delivery of material based on real case studies provided added value for participants, as it could be directly related to daily work conditions. This activity not only focused on delivering the material, but also encouraged active participation of participants through interactive discussion sessions. In this session, participants were given the opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and discuss various challenges faced in implementing risk management in their respective institutions. The open and communicative discussion atmosphere created an effective and applicable two-way learning process. In addition to providing benefits for participants, this activity also served as a means of implementing the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi for Bunda Mulia University, particularly in the field of community service. The involvement of academics in this activity demonstrated the active role of higher education in bridging industry needs with scientific development. Furthermore, Master of Management students were also involved in the material development process, thus gaining hands-on experience in applying theory to real-world practice (experiential learning). The high enthusiasm of participants throughout the program demonstrated that this program provides significant benefits in improving understanding and competency in the field of risk management. This also emphasizes the importance of collaboration between academia and industry in creating superior human resources that are adaptive to change. Through this activity, Bunda Mulia University hopes to continue contributing to the development of professional competencies in the banking sector, as well as strengthening sustainable synergy between educational institutions and the industrial world in facing increasingly complex economic challenges.
