Tangerang, September 20, 2025 – Buddhist Student Association known as Keluarga Mahasiswa Buddhis (KMB) Dhammamitta of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, held its first event of the 2025/2026 term: a Talk Show titled “In Dhamma We Meet, As Friends We Grow” combined with a Meet and Greet. The event held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Room 1204, UBM Tower, and was attended by 48 Buddhist students of Bunda Mulia University.
This event served as an initial gathering for new Buddhist’s students to meet with the board and active members of KMB Dhammamitta. Carrying the theme “In Dhamma We Meet, As Friends We Grow,” the event aimed to introduce the organization’s roles, programs, and values, while also creating a warm, inclusive, and meaningful atmosphere.
The talk show invited inspiring speakers: Venerable Bhikkhu Cittagutto Mahāthera and Venerable Bhiksu Bhadra Pala Mahasthavira as the Sangha advisors of KMB Dhammamitta, along with Tiara Cecilia, the Chairperson of KMB Dhammamitta Serpong for the 2025/2026 term. Through shared experiences and teachings, participants were invited to understand the importance of a Buddhist community in supporting their journey through university life, while reinforcing Dhamma values as a foundation for building healthy and supportive relationships as Kalyanamitta (spiritual friends).

Following the talk show, an Amisa Puja offering was presented to the Sangha members as a form of respect. The atmosphere was solemn and filled with gratitude. A blessing session then followed, led by Venerable Bhikkhu Cittagutto Mahāthera, with the prayer recited by Venerable Bhiksu Bhadra Pala Mahasthavira, allowing participants to collectively cultivate merit in a serene and meaningful setting.

The event continued with the introduction of the 8th Generation Board Members of KMB Dhammamitta, followed by an explanation of the organization’s activities and a briefing on the open recruitment for Dhammaworkers. This session provided a valuable opportunity for new students to understand how they could play a role and contribute within the organization.

To lighten the atmosphere, the committee also prepared fun and interactive games. These activities fostered warmth, laughter, and interaction among participants, further enhancing the sense of togetherness and family spirit.

The Talk Show x Meet and Greet marked the beginning of the organization’s regeneration process. With a positive first impression, KMB Dhammamitta hopes to cultivate a generation of Dhammaworkers who are active, dedicated, and passionate about developing Buddhism within the campus environment. Through this event, KMB Dhammamitta of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, opens a new chapter full of hope—transforming this meeting not just into an introduction, but into the beginning of a shared journey of growth, learning, and deeper kinship in the spirit of the Dhamma.
Lastly, we at KMB Dhammamitta say: Sabbe Satta Bhavantu Sukhitatta – May all beings be happy.
