Tangerang, February 27, 2026 – The iCare Student Activity Unit of Serpong Campus has held an event aimed at iCare members and administrators, namely the Recycle Workshop Activity on Friday, February 27, 2026. In this Workshop , the theme raised was ” Green Action: Recycling For The Future” and was held at The UBM Master Kitchen, 10th Floor of UBM Tower. Before entering the room, the participants who attended registered first. The event was opened by singing the Indonesian national anthem, UBM Mars and iCare Mars, then listening to remarks from the head of iCare and the head of the event.


Then continued with Ice Breaking “Hujan” presented by the MC to enliven the atmosphere and increase the enthusiasm of the participants present. The event continued with the presentation of material by the resource person, Mr. Saifuddin as CEO of Bank Sampah 102. The material presented was about the types of waste, how to process waste and why waste-related handling is important. The participants listened to the material presented by the resource person carefully, followed by a question and answer session for participants who wanted to ask about waste management. Not only that, the event continued with the practice of making key chains made from used bottle caps that were melted with an iron and printed using the mold provided. The tools and materials used included used bottle caps, irons, scissors, and printing tools to form the key chains. Before that, the participants were divided into 8 groups, then participants took turns to make their own key chains in the groups that had been distributed.


After the presentation of the material and the practical craftsmanship, a prize-giving session was held for the best questioner. The event continued with the awarding of a Token of Appreciation to Mr. Saifuddin by the head of iCare. This was followed by a documentation session for the participants and committee of the Recycle Workshop , and the event concluded with a second attendance and feedback session. With this Recycle Workshop, we hope to broaden knowledge about proper and wise waste management, thereby increasing environmental awareness.
