Jakarta, February 6, 2026 — The theater performance ” Nusantara Odyssey” was successfully held at the UBM Grand Auditorium, UBM Ancol Campus. This collaborative performance between Biems Theater Ancol and Connection Productions reimagined Nusantara folklore in a modern setting. The 15th performance, attended by approximately 700 people, served as an effort to revive cultural values amidst the changing times.

The series of events began at 5:30 PM WIB (Western Indonesian Time) after the audience entered the auditorium at 5:00 PM WIB. The opening performance featured the story of Bawang Merah Bawang Putih (Shallot and Garlic), an artistic approach that emphasized moral messages and humanitarian values. The audience’s enthusiasm was evident throughout the performance, demonstrating the strong interest in performing arts rooted in local culture.

The performance then continued with the legend of Lutung Kasarung , presented through emotional acting and dramatic stagecraft, conveying a message of loyalty and sacrifice. This event was held with the support of Bunda Mulia University and various related parties. Through this performance, students demonstrated their commitment to preserving culture while developing artistic creativity on the Jakarta campus.

We would like to thank all parties and sponsors who supported our event, ensuring its success. We hope that BIEMS Theater will continue to create and deliver even better performances in the future.
