South Tangerang, January 23, 2026 — Moments of togetherness, reflection, and the spirit of collaboration were felt strongly in the celebration of the 18th Anniversary of the Excellent Community of Management (XCM), the Management Study Program Student Association of UBM Serpong Campus. Held at M1 UBM Tower, the activity took place on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 5:30 PM–8:00 PM WIB, with 38 XCM members in attendance. This activity was not only an event to celebrate the organization’s anniversary, but also a forum for strengthening students’ soft skills through Softskill Training activities with the theme ” How to Foster Teamwork & Collaboration.” Entering its 18th year, XCM has developed into a student organization that actively supports the academic development, soft skills, and professional relationships of management students.
This celebration is an important momentum to look back on the journey that has been traveled, the achievements made, and the real contributions that have been given to students and the academic environment. More than just a celebration, this activity symbolizes XCM’s commitment to continue to grow, innovate, and provide a positive impact for its members. The theme “ How to Foster Teamwork & Collaboration ” was chosen because teamwork is a key element in the success of organizations, both in the campus environment and the professional world. In practice, teamwork is not only about completing tasks together, but also includes effective communication, trust between members, the ability to understand different perspectives, and clear role coordination. Through this activity, XCM members are invited to understand the importance of collaboration as the foundation of a solid and productive organization. The event began with a registration and opening session by the MC, followed by remarks from the Secretary of the Management Study Program, Dr. Ika Pratiwi Simbolon, SE, MM, CMM, and then continued with a soft skills session from the XCM advisor, Mrs. Christy Ayu Sarah Panjaitan, SE, MM, who emphasized the importance of maintaining solidarity, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit in every organizational work program. The soft skills session was delivered interactively and collaborated with various team games.
This method was chosen so that participants not only understand the concept of teamwork theoretically, but also experience it directly through collaborative experiences. The atmosphere became even more warm during the candle blowing procession and cutting of the XCM 18th birthday cake, which symbolizes the organization’s long journey as well as hopes for a better future. This moment also served as a form of appreciation for all members, administrators, and supervisors who have contributed to the development of XCM to date. The series of events then continued with various collaborative games designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, and creativity of members. The enthusiasm of the participants was clearly evident from the active participation, laughter, and the spirit of togetherness created throughout the game sessions. The announcement of game winners, the distribution of rewards, and door prizes further added to the excitement of the event and provided appreciation for participants who actively participated. Towards the end of the event, a group dinner session was a relaxed yet meaningful moment. Informal interactions between students and supervisors in this atmosphere of togetherness helped strengthen personal relationships, which ultimately supported the creation of a more harmonious and collaborative organizational environment. Overall, the 18th anniversary of XCM activities proceeded smoothly, orderly, and full of enthusiasm. This event not only provided entertainment and refreshment for members, but also served as a means of strengthening soft skills relevant to the needs of management students in the professional world. The teamwork , communication, and collaboration skills honed through these activities are expected to be important provisions for students in facing academic and career challenges in the future.
Through this celebration, XCM reaffirms its role as a student organization that focuses not only on internal activities but also on making real contributions to student development and the academic environment. The resulting spirit of togetherness is expected to energize the organization to continue its journey with greater solidity, innovation, and adaptability to the dynamics of the times. XCM’s 18th anniversary is not just a celebration of its age, but a symbol of the journey, collaboration, and hope to continue growing together towards a stronger and more meaningful future.
