The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol, in collaboration with the Excellent Community of Management (XCM), organized the XCM CARE event, a social initiative aimed at showing support and attention to the elderly residents of Wisma Mulia Elderly Home. The event, themed “A Visit of Compassion, Hope, and Love at Wisma Mulia Elderly Home,” aimed to provide both moral and material support, as well as to instill a sense of care and hope for the residents. XCM CARE recognizes the various challenges faced by the elderly, such as their need for attention and social support. As such, this program was created to raise public awareness and encourage greater empathy toward the welfare of older adults, while building a more caring and inclusive community.
However, during the event on Saturday, July 19, 2025, XCM CARE encountered some technical challenges from the Wisma Mulia Elderly Home. Despite these obstacles, XCM CARE ensured that the donated items, which had been carefully prepared in advance, were successfully distributed. The donations included essential supplies and daily necessities that were greatly needed by the residents. This action demonstrated XCM CARE’s commitment to supporting the elderly, even in the face of technical difficulties. The program not only provided material aid but also fostered social awareness and collective responsibility in creating a community that is more considerate toward its elderly members. XCM CARE hopes to continue making a positive impact for both the residents of the elderly home and the surrounding community, driven by a spirit of togetherness and collaboration.
