Students from the Management Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Ancol Campus have once again demonstrated remarkable achievements at the national level by actively participating in the Jakarta Business Competition (JBC) 2025, organized by Indonesia Banking School (IBS). This competition carries the overarching theme “Future Business Ecosystem: Transforming Sustainability Challenges into Growth Opportunities,” challenging participants to develop business models that are not only innovative but also address sustainability issues in a concrete and relevant manner to future challenges.
In this competition, Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus registered nine teams, each consisting of three active students from the Management Study Program. The teams that participated in the competition include: (Team Ecolarva consisting of Justin Raphael Wijaya, Rendy Andrian, and Nicholas), (Team Tumbuh Café and Tulisan Alam consisting of Tania Agatha, Marison Darmansyah, and Rudi Hartono), (Team Re-lish consisting of Felicia Yudi, Samuel Paruntu Bawangun, and Wirya Winata), (Team EcoSwap consisting of Kevin Febrian Kusnadi, Josua Jayakusuma, and Wily Dozen), (Team Circulate Food consisting of Felicia Aprila, Cindy Martadina, and Widelia), (Team Visencia, Kelvin Oktaviano, and Zeanette Premie Cahyaningtyas), (Team Green Bite consisting of Nicolas Vincent, Eric Nicolas, and Dinar Hadi Sulaiman), (Team Essentia consisting of Sierryn Christabelle Panca, Lavina Christy, and Rico Gunawan), and (Team Mark 25 consisting of Viriya Fuzzel Iskandar, Linus Dekita, and Vinsensia E. Ose Tukan).

After undergoing a competitive selection process, four out of the nine teams advanced to the semifinal round, where participants were tasked with preparing business proposals focused on sustainability and the transformation of future business ecosystems. Subsequently, the four teams advanced to the final stage held on May 22, 2025, where the semifinal teams presented their business models directly to a panel of judges consisting of industry professionals and prominent academics.

From the final assessment results, Team “RE-lish,” consisting of Felicia Yudi (12220039), Wirya Winata (12220117), and Samuel Paruntu Bawangun (12220118), successfully participated, winning 2nd place in the “Best Ideate Plan” category and 3rd place in the Main Winner category of JBC 2025. Meanwhile, Team “Tulisan Alam,” consisting of Marison Darmansyah (12240183), Tania Agatha (12240181), and Rudi Hartono (12240215), also participated in representing the university, winning 3rd place in the “Best Ideate Plan” category.

This remarkable achievement reflects the quality of education and entrepreneurship development applied at Universitas Bunda Mulia, particularly in instilling values of innovation, sustainability, and leadership in students from an early stage. The JBC 2025 competition serves as an ideal platform to test students’ abilities in facing increasingly complex and dynamic business challenges while providing a space to make a tangible contribution through creative ideas that positively impact society and the environment. Universitas Bunda Mulia extends its highest appreciation to all participants who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and competitive spirit, as well as to the mentors who have provided full support in the learning process and competition preparation. It is hoped that this achievement will serve as a motivation for all academic members to continue innovating and excelling in various scientific and professional forums, both nationally and internationally.
