Jakarta, September 19, 2025 – The Information Systems Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Serpong Campus held an industrial visit to PT Datascrip under the theme “Modern Technology for Smart Industry.” This activity aimed to provide students with first-hand experience of how modern technologies are implemented in the business world, bridging academic theories with real industrial practices. The event was attended by 50 students accompanied by lecturers Mrs. Mega Kartika Sari and Mrs. Merryana Lestari. The agenda included a company profile presentation, a sharing session on industrial technology development, an office tour, and an interactive Q&A session with the speakers. Students gained valuable insights into the application of cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Cloud Computing, and intelligent robotics in real business processes.
Based on feedback, the program received highly positive responses, with an overall satisfaction score of 3.76 out of 4. The most appreciated aspects were the relevance of the materials to the program’s objectives (3.81) and the effectiveness of the implementation (3.79). Students found the visit highly beneficial in broadening their career perspectives, deepening their understanding of the skills required in the Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 eras, and strengthening academic-industry relations. Through this industrial visit, UBM aims to prepare Information Systems students to face global challenges and contribute meaningfully to the development and application of modern technology across various sectors.
