Serpong, October 2025 – Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Serpong Campus in collaboration with Narada High School held a Community Service (Abdimas) activity with the theme “Market Research and Validation.” This activity was held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 10:30–1:00 PM WIB, at Narada High School. This program was guided by Mr. Budi Christanto, SE, B.Bus., MM, a lecturer in the Management Study Program at UBM Serpong, and assisted by Lucrezia Aurellia, an active student of the Management Study Program. This activity was attended by 41 grade XI students of Narada High School.
This program aims to equip students with the ability to understand market needs, analyze consumer behavior, and validate business ideas before they are implemented. The activity began at 10:30 with an opening and introduction of the topic by the speaker, followed by an explanation of the basic concepts of Market Research and Business Idea Validation. After that, students were divided into several groups to conduct discussions and simple market research simulations using questionnaires and short observations. Each group then validated their research results and presented their business ideas, concluding with a reflection session, an interactive Q&A session, and a group photo at 1:00 PM.
This activity not only enhanced students’ understanding of market research but also fostered critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills. This collaboration is expected to produce a creative, adaptive, and research-oriented young generation in the business world. The students’ enthusiasm was evident through their active participation and enthusiasm in each session.
