Jakarta, May 5, 2025 – Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) held an Adjunct Professor session on the topic of Internetworking, featuring guest speaker Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Dieter Baums from Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM), Germany. The online event was attended by students from the TIF02 – Computer Architecture and Organization and TIF04 – Data Communication courses.
Prof. Baums delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on internetworking concepts, including modern developments such as IPv6 and software-defined networking. The session aimed to bridge theory and practice while enhancing students’ readiness for the rapidly evolving IT industry.


Participant feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with average scores exceeding 3.70 out of 4.00 across all evaluation indicators. Students especially appreciated the speaker’s subject mastery and ability to answer questions effectively. Suggestions for future sessions included hands-on practice and in-person events.
This initiative is part of UBM’s ongoing commitment to delivering industry-relevant, technology-driven learning experiences for its students.
