On Saturday, November 22, 2025, the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program held an Industrial Visit and Table Manner Activity for Class of 2025 Semester 1 students to the Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran. This activity was held during the day starting from 10:00 to 14:30 WIB where not only table manners but also students had the opportunity to get a hotel tour and a welcome from the General Manager of the Hotel. In addition, as accompanying lecturers were the Secretary of the Study Program, Hari Iskandar, SE, MM. Lecturers of the Hospitality Study Program, Mrs. Sofiani, S.Tr.Par., M.Par., and Mrs. Roozan Maria Ritonga, M.Par. Students were also divided into 10 groups to do a Hotel Tour where students could see various existing facilities such as the hotel lobby , lounge , restaurant, spa , ballroom , and hotel rooms. As well as students can observe the activities and activities that occur in the hotel, which is a place for students to be involved when in the world of work later. After the Table Manners activity was completed, there were mini-games held to sharpen students’ memory and knowledge of the Table Manners material that had been presented previously, with prizes of dessert and hotel vouchers . The Industrial Visit and Table Manners were expected to provide students with an overview of the situation in the world of tourism, especially hotels, and provide knowledge on etiquette and polite behavior at the dinner table in formal situations.
