Softskill Seminar “Getting Ready for My Internship” S1 Hospitality & Tourism Study Program OJT Department

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022 the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program together with the OJT Department held an onsite Softskill Seminar with the theme “Getting Ready for My Internship”. This activity is held to provide briefing to students who will take part in the Internship program in the even semester of 2022/2023. The briefings provided included tips and tricks in participating in interviews, such as creating a positive first impression, being confident, being yourself and making good eye contact. Other things that students must also pay attention to are having a good attitude, high learning motivation, especially in learning new things and being able to be responsible for the commitments that have been made. After the presentation of the material was completed, it was followed by a question and answer session where students could discuss directly with expert practitioners from the Hospitality Industry. The speakers of this activity presented a team from DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jakarta – Diponegoro represented by Mr. Raymond Jhonny as HRM, Mrs. Gita Afrilia as HR & Learning Officer, Mr. Andri Setiawan as Sous Chef and Mr. Benny Sobandi as FB Supervisor and assisted by one of Hospitality and Tourism student who previously had completed the Internship program at DoubleTree by Hilton, namely David Stevenson.
