The Hospitality and Tourism Study Program at Bunda Mulia University has carried out Non-Incidental Community Service (Abdimas) activities which were held for 3 meetings, the first on Saturday, December 4, 2021, then the second meeting on Saturday, January 22, 2022 and the last on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Saturday, February 5, 2022.
Community Service Activities (Abdimas) Hospitality and Tourism Program at Bunda Mulia University with the theme “Socialization for the Establishment of Cihideung Udik Village to become a Tourism Village” went smoothly. The speakers in this Abdimas activity are:
The materials provided include: 1) Presentation on the basics of forming a tourist village; 2) Exposure on CBT; 3) Formation of Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis; 4) Presentation on Sapta Pesona; 5) Tourism Village Hygiene and Sanitation; 6) Exposure to the institution of the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis); 7) Presentation of 4A Materials and 8) Presentation of Service Quality Materials.
The purpose of this activity is as an introduction to the understanding of community members about tourism, how to implement tourism activities and what components must be prepared regarding the development of Cihideung Udik village into a tourist village.
This activity itself was enthusiastically followed by all levels of the Cihideung Udik community in every meeting. In general, the implementation of this Community Service Activity (Abdimas) went well as indicated by 1) the number of participants involved; 2) the persistence of participants in participating in the activities; and 3) participant participation in discussion and simulation activities.
