The Information Systems Study Program of Bunda Mulia University has successfully held a Public Lecture on E-Commerce Designing on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 , at the Lecturer Hall – 5th Floor of Alfa Tower . This activity carried the theme “Strategy and Innovation in E-Commerce Design: Realizing an Effective, Secure, and Competitive Digital Experience in the Era of Digital Transformation” and was attended by E-Commerce Designing class students and participants from across study programs.
This public lecture was held in response to the rapid growth of e-commerce, which requires students to not only understand information systems theory but also be able to design and implement digital platforms relevant to industry needs. The activity featured Maulana Christanto , Chief Experience and Analytics of ruparupa.com , who provided in-depth insights into e-commerce design strategies, UI/UX implementation, data analytics utilization, and digital innovation to increase the competitiveness of online businesses.


The event was interactive, with participants actively discussing the challenges, trends, and opportunities in the development of modern e-commerce. The participants’ enthusiasm was reflected in the results of the activity evaluation through a feedback questionnaire. In the Material and Implementation aspects, the average scores obtained included: material benefits (3.78), material relevance (3.87), media use (3.77), implementation process (3.80), and the addition of new skills (3.84). Meanwhile, the Instructor/Resource Person aspect received a very positive assessment with an average ability to master the material (3.87), material delivery (3.90), methods used (3.85), ability to answer questions (3.86), and the ability to create a conducive learning atmosphere (3.86).
Overall, this activity was deemed successful in providing a comprehensive and applicable understanding of modern e-commerce design, while strengthening students’ readiness to face the ever-growing needs of the digital industry.
