Press Release: Community Service MPLS Workshop “Leadership – Lead with Purpose” at Tunas Harapan High School, Bogor

Jakarta, July 16, 2025. The Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus held a workshop for MPLS (Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sekolah at SMA Tunas Harapan Bogor with the theme “Leadership – Lead with Purpose.” This event was aimed at students of grades 10, 11, and 12 of SMA Tunas Harapan Bogor as part of their leadership preparation relevant to the real world. The event featured competent speakers in their fields, namely Mr. Elkunny Dovir Siratan, S.Par., MM, a lecturer from the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus, and Nicolas Vincent, an active student from the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia Ancol Campus in the second semester, who is also a member of the Excellent Community of Management. With a strong background, Mr. Elkunny shared insights into the importance of goal-based leadership and values in the professional world.

The workshop started with an ice-breaking session, followed by a presentation on the concept of effective leadership and how students can lead with a clear purpose. The next session was designed to encourage interaction between the participants and the speakers, creating an enjoyable and insightful atmosphere. The final session was a Q&A, where students had the opportunity to ask the speakers about the topics presented and their practical experiences in leadership, particularly in the high school environment.

The goal of this activity was to introduce a leadership concept that would benefit the students’ character development, not only in the school environment but also in their personal lives and future. With an engaging and interactive approach, the students of SMA Tunas Harapan Bogor are expected to understand the essence of inspiring leadership and how they can become responsible and goal-oriented leaders with discipline.
