On April 30, 2025, the Information Systems Study Program held a Community Service Activity at Bhakti Utama School with the theme: “The Impact of Cybercrime on Society.” The speakers were Ignatius Adrian Mastan and Frans Sinata, assisted by two Information Systems students: Heri Prayogo Wijaya and Stefanie Chaterine. Thirty-seven participants from grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 at Bhakti Utama School participated in the activity.

The topics covered in this community service activity included the types and kinds of cybercrime, the impact of cybercrime, ways to improve cybersecurity, and the role of the ITE Law. The importance of basic knowledge about cybercrime from an early age supports efforts to prevent and anticipate computer crime, especially in this digital age. It is hoped that this Community Service Activity will benefit Bhakti Utama School, particularly in understanding Data and Information Security.

Participants were very enthusiastic, asking questions relevant to the material discussed. The activity concluded with a prize for the best pen, feedback on the activity, and a group photo with grades 7, 8, 9, and 10 from Bhakti Utama School. Analyzing the feedback, it was concluded that the PKM activity provided positive benefits and a positive impact on all participants.
