Tangerang, November 25, 2025 — The Information Systems Student Association (HIMSI) of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus, once again demonstrated its commitment to developing student potential through the “Next Gen Information Systems Learning Community: Poster Design Class” activity. This activity was held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, and was attended by Information Systems Study Program students across semesters, with a primary focus on new students.
This activity aims to be a collaborative learning platform that supports the development of soft skills, particularly in visual communication and poster design. Through this class, participants are equipped with a basic understanding of design principles such as layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and color selection, as well as hands-on practice using applicable digital design media.
This Poster Design Class featured Jimmy, S.Ds., M.Sn. , a lecturer in Visual Communication Design, as a resource person. During the learning session, the resource person delivered material interactively, followed by brainstorming sessions, individual and group exercises, and a question-and-answer discussion guided by the Next Gen coordinator team. This approach encouraged participants to actively discuss and develop their creativity collaboratively.

Based on evaluation results and participant feedback, the activity received a very positive response. Participants considered the material presented relevant, easy to understand, and provided additional knowledge and skills that could be immediately applied. Furthermore, the activity atmosphere was deemed conducive and supported an enjoyable learning process.
Through the Next Gen program, HIMSI hopes to build a supportive learning environment while preparing for quality organizational regeneration. This activity is a concrete step in developing new students so they are ready to contribute academically and organizationally within the Information Systems Study Program at Bunda Mulia University.
Going forward, HIMSI is committed to continuing to provide relevant and sustainable self-development activities to support the vision of the Information Systems Study Program in producing competent, creative, and competitive graduates.
