Jakarta, August 9, 2025 – The Accounting Student Association (HIMA Accasia) participated in the Seminar and Inauguration of the Young Members Board of the Indonesian Institute of Accountants (IAI) DKI Jakarta Region for the 2025/2026 term, held on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the BPK DKI Jakarta Regional Office Auditorium, South Jakarta.
Carrying the theme “Sustainable Accounting Transformation in the Digital Era: Innovation, Regulation, and the Role of Accountants in Supporting ESG and SDGs”, the seminar aimed to equip students and prospective accountants with the knowledge and skills to navigate the development of sustainable accounting in the digital era, including technological innovations, the latest regulations, and the strategic role of accountants in supporting the achievement of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
HIMA Accasia sent five student representatives accompanied by the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Dr. Ririn Breliastiti, S.E., M.M., CSRS. The seminar featured an experienced speaker and expert in ESG and SDGs, Dr. Deni Darmawati, S.E., Ak., M.Si., CA, CSRS, CSRA, CGRCPA, CPIA, CIIQA, who emphasized the importance of the young generation in making a real impact and taking concrete actions toward sustainable programs in Indonesia.
The event was interactive, with a question-and-answer session, interspersed with an ice-breaking Quizizz game to review the material presented. Prizes were awarded to the three best questioners and the three participants with the highest Quizizz scores.
The series of activities concluded with a handover ceremony from the 2024/2025 IAI board to the newly elected 2025/2026 board. During the event, one of the students from the Accounting Study Program at Universitas Bunda Mulia, Nasya Lita Natalsya, was successfully elected and inaugurated as the Vice Chair of IAI Muda DKI Jakarta Region for the 2025/2026 term, a moment of pride for UBM’s Accounting Study Program and HIMA Accasia, as well as tangible proof of the quality and competence of its students in the professional arena.
In addition to broadening knowledge, this event also served as a platform to strengthen the relationship between IAI and HIMA Accasia, while opening opportunities for collaboration and expanding professional networks.
