The Information Systems Study Program of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Serpong Campus has successfully held a Guest Lecture with the theme “Implementing PMBOK Framework in Information Systems Project Management” on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 , at Alfa Tower .
This activity presented Mahardhika Hendra Bagaskara , Senior IT Project Manager – Digital Banking Projects at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk , as a resource person. He shared his experience and in-depth insights regarding the application of PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge) in the professional world, particularly in the management of information systems and digital banking technology projects. Through applicable and interactive presentations, students were invited to understand the principles, knowledge areas, as well as tools and techniques that are standard in international project management practices.
This guest lecture was attended by students of the Information Systems/Information Technology Project Management course, with lecturer Merryana Lestari, S.Kom., M.Kom. The activity aimed to broaden students’ horizons in connecting project management theory learned in class with real-world practices in the industrial world, as well as fostering motivation to adopt best practices in IT project management.
Based on participant feedback, this activity received an average rating of 3.87 on a scale of 4 , indicating a high level of satisfaction with all aspects of the implementation. The material was deemed relevant, the speakers’ presentations engaging, and the classroom atmosphere conducive. Participants also suggested that similar activities be held regularly with inspiring and applicable topics.
Through this activity, the UBM Information Systems Study Program continues to demonstrate its commitment to providing learning that is aligned with industry needs, in order to produce graduates who are competent, adaptive, and ready to compete in the era of digital transformation.
