Universitas Bunda Mulia, Serpong Campus – Accounting Study Program held a Management Accounting General Lecture on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 09:15 to 11:45 AM. The event took place onsite at the UBM Lecture Hall, 5th Floor, Serpong Campus. The general lecture was attended by 107 second-semester students enrolled in the AKB29 – Cost Accounting course, specifically from classes 2PAK51, 2PAK52, and 2PAK53. The primary objective of this guest lecture was to provide students with knowledge regarding the importance of integrating sustainability aspects into modern management accounting practices. It also aimed to broaden students’ perspectives by emphasizing that, in addition to financial factors, environmental and social issues have become critical variables in business decision-making. To support this goal, the Accounting Study Program invited Mr. Brian Pramudita, SE, Ak, M.Ak, CA, ACPA, CIB, CCA, CertDA, CertSF, CSRS, CSRA, CSP, ACSAP, as a CEO and Founder of BATS Consulting, as the keynote speaker for the event. He delivered a presentation titled “SUSTAINABILITY, THE NEW VARIABLE IN MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTING”
The event began with an opening by the two Masters of Ceremony, Amelia Yasmin and Angelina, followed by singing Indonesia Raya and the Universitas Bunda Mulia anthem. The welcoming speech was then delivered by Ms. Veny, S.E., M.Ak. as a Secretary of the Accounting Study Program at Serpong Campus. The event continued under the moderation of Mr. Danu Pradipta Putra, S.E., M.Acc. as a Lecturer in Accounting at Universitas Bunda Mulia. The main session featured a presentation discussing climate change issues, the associated risks and opportunities, and their considerations in today’s financial accounting practices. Following the presentation, a Q&A session allowed participants to engage directly with the speaker. Three students are John Benedict Patoding, Nicholas Jovan Chanjaya, and Mario Putro Pratama asked insightful questions, all of which were answered thoroughly and clearly.
The event proceeded with a symbolic Token of Appreciation presented by Ms. Lilis Susilawaty, S.E., M.M. to Mr. Brian Pramudita, SE, Ak, M.Ak, CA, ACPA, CIB, CCA, CertDA, CertSF, CSRS, CSRA, CSP, ACSAP as the keynote speaker. Another Token of Appreciation was also symbolically handed over by Ms. Veny, S.E., M.Ak. to Mr. Danu Pradipta Putra, S.E., M.Acc. as the moderator. The event concluded with a group photo session led by the documentation team. Finally, participants were asked to complete an e-questionnaire as a requirement to receive their e-certificates and SAR points.
In conclusion, we extend our sincere gratitude to all Accounting Study Program faculty members, Mr. Brian Pramudita, and all second-semester participants for their contributions and support in making the Management Accounting General Lecture a successful and impactful event.
