On Thursday, September 21, 2023, the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Student Association, or commonly known as HMP Hospar, Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus held a “Talkshow & Meet and Greet” event with the theme “RISE & BLOOM: Allow Yourself to Grow” which was held offline at Lecture Hall Lt.5 Alfa Tower Serpong Campus. This activity involved HMP Hospar members as the organizing committee and also 1st semester students of Bunda Mulia University Serpong Campus as participants.
This event aims to introduce the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Student Association to the participants, especially new students in semester 1. Not only that, in this activity there were also 2 experienced speakers, namely Angel Claudia and Ivan Agus, the mentors and chairmen of HMP Hospitality & Tourism for the 2022/2023 period. This event was hosted by the MC of the event, Nicky Narada and Neysa Alicia who are members of the HMP Hospar equipment and development divisions. The Indonesia Raya song and UBM Hymn became the opening session at this event, then continued with remarks from the Serpong Campus Secretary of Hospitality & Tourism, Ms. Andari Tirtadidjaja, S.ST.Par., M.Tr.Par. After that, this event continued with a talk show session with 2 speakers guided by Nikita Oktaputri as the moderator. The participants could also ask questions to the speakers in this session. The event continued with a Meet & Greet session with HMP Hospar which began with remarks from Elsye Lim as Chairperson of HMP Hospar for the 2023/2024 period and continued with the introduction of Division Chairpersons, and Members of each division for the 2022/2023 period. After that, the Development Division also explained and announced “Open Recruitment batch 2” for 1st semester students. This event also consists of challenges and games to add to the excitement of the event which can be followed by all participants.
The hope of this event is that new students can be active and productive during the college years, get to know the lecturers, become closer with the seniors, and get interested in being part of the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Student Association. HMP Hospar also hopes that with this activity, the insights provided can help students develop themselves and also so that the Hospitality & Tourism Study Program Student Association of Bunda Mulia University Serpong Campus can be more successful in the future.
