Hello Biemers!
On this occasion, the Digital Business Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia held a Community Service (PKM) activity attended by students from SMAK Tunas Bangsa Sunter. The activity carried the theme “Exploring Business Majors,” aiming to provide participants with a better understanding of the scope of business studies, the university learning system, career prospects, and the importance of cultivating an entrepreneurial spirit in the digital era.
This PKM activity was designed to help students gain a clear picture of university life while preparing them to face future business challenges. Through this session, students were encouraged to broaden their perspectives on critical and creative thinking skills, as well as their readiness to adapt to the dynamics of modern business.
The event took place at UBM Ancol Campus on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 08:40 to 09:55 WIB, attended by 52 students. The session featured a presentation delivered by Mr. Reynard J.N. Makarawung, S.E., M.M., followed by a Q&A session moderated by Jevin Sebastian, a student from the Digital Business Study Program.
Through this activity, we hope to strengthen the synergy between higher education institutions and schools, while supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, particularly in the area of community service. This initiative is also expected to inspire students to develop their potential in the fields of business and entrepreneurship.
Community service represents a tangible form of commitment from academics to apply and share their knowledge for the benefit of society. Together, let us create change and progress guided by the social values that prevail in our community.
