Accounting Study Program On September 20, 2025, the Accounting Study Program of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus held an incidental Community Service (PKM) with the topic “Basic Accounting”. This activity was carried out onsite at Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus in room R1110B. The PKM activity was attended by 22 participants from grades 11 and 12 from Poris Indah High School. The PKM implementation was carried out from 10:15 to 11:15 this activity was carried out by Mrs. Vianty Adella Santo, S.Ak., M.Ak. as a permanent lecturer in the Accounting Study Program of Bunda Mulia University together with Nathanael Setiawan, an active student in semester 3.
At today’s meeting, students from Poris Indah High School were given a presentation on material related to Basic Accounting by Mrs. Vianty Adella Santo, S.Ak., M.Ak. The material presented included the basic accounting equation and its calculation methods, account types such as assets, liabilities, and equity, as well as an explanation of the accounting process, types of financial reports, and the users of these reports. After the presentation session, the activity continued with games in the form of accounting cards . In this game, students were divided into three groups. Each group was asked to classify accounts into the correct category, namely assets, liabilities, or equity. The group that managed to group the most accounts correctly was declared the winner. The activity went well, interactively, and was full of enthusiasm from the students. Through the delivery of this material and games , students gained a deeper understanding of basic accounting, and were able to identify and classify accounts correctly. By implementing PKM, it is hoped that it can help students in their learning and broaden the participants’ horizons, can increase cooperation between Bunda Mulia University and Poris Indah High School, and provide new experiences for students involved in this Community Service activity.
