On December 5, 2025, the Accounting Study Program of Bunda Mulia University, Serpong and Ancol Campus held an incidental Community Service (PKM) with the topic “Financial Planning & Financial Tips”. This activity was carried out online and was attended by 17 teachers from Patmos Vocational School. The PKM implementation took place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. This activity was presented by Veny, SE, M.Ak., Kezia Josephine, SE, M.Ak., Juan Carlos Pangestu, SE, M.Ak., CPGA., CRMA., Arief Sugiono, SE, M.Ak., and Tomi Bermana, SE, MM, Ak., CA., ACPA., Asean CPA., CMA., together with active students of the Accounting Study Program, namely Gracia Nathania, Jovita Ivana Liman, and Christine Oktavia.
The Community Service Program (PKM) activity was opened with remarks from Ms. Dewi Simbolon as a representative of the Patmos School Foundation and Ms. Veny as a representative from Bunda Mulia University. After the opening session, the event continued with a presentation of material started by Ms. Kezia Josephine who explained the topic of the Concept of Financial Planning. The presentation of the material was continued by Mr. Juan Carlos Pangestu on the topic of Planning Models and Examples of Personal Financial Reports.
To deepen the discussion, the material was continued by Mr. Arief Sugiono who discussed the Constraints in Financial Planning. Furthermore, to provide a more applicable understanding, Ms. Veny presented material related to Financial Planning Tips and continued by Mr. Tomi Bermana who explained the material on financial planning simulations. At the end of the material discussion session, a question and answer session was held with the participants.
The activity went well, interactively, and full of enthusiasm from the teachers. Through the presentation of this material, the teachers gained a deeper understanding of financial planning and received tips for personal financial planning. With the implementation of this PKM, it is hoped that it can help SMK Patmos teachers in managing finances, broaden the participants’ horizons, improve cooperation between Bunda Mulia University and SMK Patmos, and provide new experiences for the participants involved in this Community Service activity.
