Community Service: Encouraging Students’ Entrepreneurial Spirit through Entrepreneurship Presentation at Narada School

Jakarta, September 2, 2026 – In order to introduce and foster an entrepreneurial spirit from school age, the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia Ancol University held an entrepreneurship presentation activity for 10th grade students of Narada School High School. This activity provided an opportunity for students to gain insight into the world of entrepreneurship while developing the courage to create and present their business ideas.

In this activity, Dr. Siti Yasmina Zubaedah, BSIE, MSIE., a lecturer at the Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia Ancol University, delivered entrepreneurship material to students in English. The material was delivered interactively so that students not only gained an understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship but were also encouraged to actively participate during the activity.

After the presentation, the students were given the task of preparing a business plan as a form of application of the material that had been presented. Students were asked to express their business ideas in a poster which was then presented in front of an audience. This activity provided an opportunity for students to develop creativity, the ability to formulate business ideas, and skills in conveying ideas in public.

The students’ enthusiasm was visible throughout the activity. The 10th-grade students at Narada School demonstrated good manners and politeness, and were able to follow the presentation with focus. They also actively asked questions, participated in discussions, and completed the assigned assignments.

Their courage in trying and presenting business ideas was a standout feature of the activity.  During the event, the Bunda Mulia University team supported the smooth running of the event, including documenting the presentations and student activities.

This documentation was part of an effort to capture the series of activities and interactions between the presenters and students. Through this activity, it is hoped that Narada School high school students will gain a deeper understanding of the world of entrepreneurship and have the courage to develop creative ideas into business opportunities. In addition to providing knowledge, this activity also provides a space for students to learn to experiment, communicate, work with their ideas, and be brave in presenting their thoughts to others.
