On Monday, September 22, 2025, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) held a Community Service (PKM) activity led by Mr. Alexander Robert, B.A., M.Sc., together with five active Management students from the 3rd and 5th semesters: Livia Evangelina Florencia (12230242), Wirianti Irene Kartika (12230220), Rudi Hartono (12240215), Nicolas Vincent (12240216), and Gracyela Aureria (12240193).

This PKM activity focused on the topic of stock investment, aiming to enhance the participants’ knowledge and understanding of the investment world. The event began at 10:00 AM, opened by Mr. Alexander Robert, B.A., M.Sc., who served as the main speaker. He delivered an engaging and inspiring presentation about stock investment that successfully captured the students’ attention. The participants were enthusiastic and actively followed every part of his explanation.

After the presentation session, the activity continued with a StockLab investment simulation, allowing students of SMAN 2 West Jakarta to directly experience the dynamics of the stock market in an interactive and enjoyable way. The simulation was facilitated by five Management students who acted as bankers.

During the simulation, the students were introduced to various types of stocks and guided on the rules and procedures of the StockLab game. Through this session, they learned to develop investment strategies, such as portfolio diversification and stock selection. Participants were divided into small groups of five, each mentored by one Management student. The session began with introductions among participants, followed by a detailed explanation of the StockLab rules and system by the bankers before the simulation commenced.
Once they understood the mechanics, the students immediately began practicing stock investment simulation. They were highly enthusiastic, energetic, and competed fairly while applying their respective investment strategies. Time passed quickly, and the simulation concluded with each group determining its winners. The winners expressed their excitement, while other participants remained motivated and enjoyed the learning experience.
The event concluded with a group photo session as documentation. Through this PKM activity themed “Enhancing Financial Literacy Among Youth Through StockLab Investment Simulation at SMAN 2 West Jakarta,” participants were expected to gain deeper insight into stock investment and hands-on experience in managing portfolios through the StockLab simulation. Furthermore, the activity aimed to foster participants’ strategic thinking skills in making investment decisions and managing risks in the stock market.
