On Wednesday, September 24, 2025, the Management Study Program of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) Ancol Campus conducted a Community Service (PKM) activity led by Mr. Alexander Robert, B.A., M.Sc., together with five active Management students from the 3rd and 5th semesters: Livia Evangelina Florencia (12230242), Rendi Andrian (12230308), Sierryn Christabelle Panca (12240172), Nicolas Vincent (12240216), and Gracyela Aureria (12240193).

In this PKM activity, the topic focused on a deeper understanding of stock investment, aimed at broadening participants’ knowledge and awareness about the world of finance. The session began at 9:00 AM, opened by Mr. Alexander Robert, B.A., M.Sc., who delivered an engaging and insightful presentation on stock investment. His inspiring delivery successfully captured the attention of all participants. Following the presentation, the session continued with a StockLab investment simulation, allowing students of SMA Fons Vitae 2 Jakarta to experience the dynamics of the stock market in a safe and enjoyable setting. The simulation was guided by the five Management students acting as bankers.

During the StockLab simulation, students were introduced to various types of stocks and provided with explanations on how to conduct the simulation effectively. Through this interactive approach, participants were encouraged to develop investment strategies—either by diversifying their portfolios or selecting specific stocks to hold. Students were divided into groups of five, with each group accompanied by one student mentor. The first session began with introductions, followed by the bankers explaining the StockLab rules and mechanisms before the simulation commenced.

After understanding the procedures, students immediately began the simulation and enthusiastically engaged in the activity. They enjoyed the process while applying their investment strategies and competing fairly with one another. As time passed, the simulation concluded with each group determining their winners. The winning teams expressed great excitement, while those who did not win remained enthusiastic and motivated to learn more.
The PKM activity concluded with a group photo session. Through this community service themed “Enhancing Financial Literacy Among Youth Through StockLab Investment Simulation at SMA Fons Vitae 2,” it is expected that all participants gained a broader understanding of stock investment and practical experience through the StockLab simulation. Moreover, this activity aimed to cultivate participants’ ability to develop effective investment strategies, both in stock selection and portfolio diversification.
