The 11th Investment Day (IDAY 2025)

As the Investment Gallery of Universitas Bunda Mulia (UBM) celebrates its 12th anniversary, the Management Study Program and the Excellent Community of Management (XCM) successfully hosted the 11th edition of the Investment Day (IDAY) event. The theme of the 11th Investment Day, held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, was “Empowering the Next-Gen Value Investor to Build Purposeful Wealth in Uncertainty & Volatility.” This seminar was attended by 530 participants, addressing the financial market dynamics that have seen sharp fluctuations in recent years due to economic uncertainty, geopolitical crises, high inflation, and changes in monetary policy. Today’s generation of investors, particularly the younger generation (Next-Gen), faces challenges different from those of previous generations. They are expected not only to understand the basic principles of investing but also to equip themselves with adaptive and sustainable strategies, such as value investing, which focuses on creating long-term meaningful wealth (purposeful wealth). This seminar aimed to be an educational and inspirational platform, empowering the next generation of investors to pursue not only financial profit but also a clear vision for building an ethical, impactful, and resilient portfolio amid market uncertainties and volatility. By combining the principles of value investing, strong financial literacy, and an understanding of global issues affecting the market, this seminar helped participants build a more stable, sustainable wealth foundation aligned with both personal and social values.
In addition to the seminar, a national competition was held across three categories: the National Virtual Trading Competition, National Stock Analysis Competition, and National Stock Lab Competition. The National Virtual Trading Competition and National Stock Analysis Competition were held online, while the National Stock Lab Competition was conducted in-person at Universitas Bunda Mulia, Ancol Campus. These competitions were not only attended by UBM students but also involved students from various universities across Indonesia, including Universitas Bunda Mulia Serpong (Tangerang), Providence University (Taiwan), Universitas Diponegoro (Semarang), Universitas Tanjungpura (Pontianak), STIKOM Yos Sudarso (Purwokerto), Universitas Mercu Buana (Jakarta), Universitas Sebelas Maret (Surakarta), and Universitas Tarumanagara (Jakarta Barat), enriching the IDAY 2025 event. The event received support and sponsorship from MNC Sekuritas, Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Kompasiana, Ofero, Pake Pakaii, Byroo, Sari Roti, and Marquiz.
