On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Hospitality and Tourism Study Program of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) semester 3, specifically the Entertainment and Leisure Management concentration, again held a Public Lecture activity with the theme “The Pattern of Travel: How Data is Driving Modern Tourism Business Processes and Oversight.” and made this activity by bringing together professionals, academics, and students to gain new insights. The activity, which took place at The UBM Hall, Ancol Campus, presented Mrs. Sri Muljani as a resource person. She gave an interesting presentation on how data plays an important role in modern tourism industry strategies, including in terms of supervision, management, and more efficient business decision-making. This activity was also accompanied by Mrs. Lamtiar Hema Malini, S.Par., MM, as a supervising lecturer and Advisor of HIMA Hospar. The event, which took place on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:20–1:20 PM WIB, was attended by students from various classes, such as Destination Management, Front Office Management, MICE, and Event Logistics & Sponsorship. Through this activity, students were invited to understand how tourist travel patterns form the basis for developing digital-based tourism promotion and management strategies. In addition to lectures and discussions, the event also featured student performances and the distribution of promotional brochures from the sponsor Cerita Cinta, which also supported this activity as a co-sponsorship partner. According to Lamtiar Hema Malini S.Par., MM as the supervising lecturer, this activity aims for students not only to understand logistics and sponsorship theory, but also to be able to relate it to technological developments and the use of data in today’s tourism industry. The activity concluded with the presentation of Tokens of Appreciation to the speakers and a group photo session with all participants and the committee. With the holding of this public lecture, it is hoped that students will be better prepared to face the digital transformation in the world of tourism and be able to see new opportunities in the ever-growing industry
