Bunda Mulia University and PT. MNC Securities Provide Students with Career Insights in the Capital Markets Industry

The Management Study Program at Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus held a Virtual Company Visit to PT MNC Sekuritas (MNCS) with the theme “Virtual Industry Visit to MNC Sekuritas: Empowering Future Professionals for the Capital Market Industry” on Thursday, August 6, 2026. The activity, which began at 09.30 WIB, aimed to provide students with insight into the capital market industry, the work environment in securities companies, and various career opportunities that can be prepared while still in college. The series of events began with participant registration coordinated by the UBM team and the screening of the MNC Sekuritas profile video as an initial introduction to the company.

The event then continued with an opening by the MC and remarks from Mr. Andri Muharizal as Head of Education and Community Partnership of PT MNC Sekuritas and Ms. Tannia, SE, MM as Head of Management Study Program of Bunda Mulia University. In their remarks, both parties emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and the industrial world in preparing competent, adaptive graduates who are ready to face the needs of the world of work. The opening session ended with a group photo as a form of documentation and symbol of the good relationship between Bunda Mulia University and PT MNC Sekuritas.

The main event featured a presentation titled “Explore the Capital Market, Build Your Future Career.” Mr. Andri Muharizal, Head of Education and Community Partnership at PT MNC Sekuritas, delivered the presentation. The presentation began with an overview of the capital market industry, investor developments and demographics in Indonesia, and MNC Sekuritas’ role in supporting the capital market investment ecosystem.

The discussion then continued with an explanation of the work environment in securities companies, career opportunities, required competencies, and various soft skills and hard skills preparations that students need to undertake to build a focused and professional career in the capital market industry, as well as providing recommendations for starting a career in the capital market.

The participants’ enthusiasm was evident in the question-and-answer session, which posed a variety of critical, insightful, and relevant questions related to the material presented. At the end of the event, participants were also invited to participate in a virtual company office tour and a screening of a career video at PT. MNC Sekuritas to gain a closer look at the atmosphere, facilities, and work environment at PT. MNC Sekuritas. The entire series of activities concluded at 12:00 PM WIB and proceeded smoothly. Through these activities, students are expected to broaden their horizons, improve their career readiness, and become more interested in learning about and contributing to the capital markets industry.
