
On Tuesday, 27 May 2025 the PJJ accounting and PJJ management study programmes successfully held a webinar entitled “Gen Z The New Power Consumersm” The activity was held online via zoom with the resource person Mr Randi Rahman Husen who is a Director of Operation Campuss Data Media. The activity was attended by students from PJJ accounting and PJJ management as many as 65 Students. Before the event began the head of the accounting PJJ study programme Devica Pratiwi, SE, M.Ak, CSRS gave a speech. The event lasted from 18.10 to 20.10 WIB. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activity as seen from the many participants who asked questions to the speakers and a good assessment of the event.

In the webinar activity, the speakers reviewed the market potential that could become a business opportunity. Gen Z is known as “The New Power Consumers” because of their growing influence and spending power. They not only have significant purchasing power, but are also able to influence market trends, the behaviour of other consumers, and brand marketing strategies globally. Gen Z is not just a new consumer, they are a force shaping the future of the market. Brands that want to be relevant must adapt to their values, such as sustainability, authenticity and inclusivity, and utilise digital platforms to reach them. By understanding Gen Z’s behaviour and preferences, brands can create stronger and more sustainable relationships with future consumers.
