Tangerang, December 23, 2025 – The Buddhist Student Family (KMB) of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol and Serpong Campus has successfully held the Mitta Day event which lasted for two full days on Monday & Tuesday, December 22 & 23, 2025 which took place at Villa Taurus, Puncak. By presenting an atmosphere of intimacy and deep togetherness for the 60 participants and committee members who attended, this event carried the theme ” Together As One, Together We Shine” which emphasized that when we unite and support each other as one unit in the organization, we can become stronger and better. In togetherness, we can strengthen each other, learn together, and encourage each other. That way, we can all shine and bring goodness, peace, and happiness to ourselves and others.

This activity was carefully designed to be not only a recreational event, but also a forum for self-development and strengthening family ties among the administrators and members of KMB Dhammamitta. Various activities have been prepared ranging from Mahayana and Theravada devotional sessions to various indoor and outdoor games that test the cohesiveness and teamwork strategies of the participants. The Mitta Day event began promptly at 5:30 a.m. WIB with the committee gathering at the meeting point, followed by the arrival of participants. After a short orientation session that included reading the rules, dividing into groups, and collecting valuables, the atmosphere began to relax with an ice- breaking session and committee introductions. The most anticipated moments in the evening were post-post games , group talent shows, and moments of togetherness such as dinner together with a fun ” secret admirer ” writing session.

Despite the two-day event, the participants’ enthusiasm remained unwavering. The second day began with morning exercise, then shifted to a deep spiritual session, a Dhamma sharing session with Venerable Bhiksu Bhadra Pala Mahasthavira, held online. The event concluded with a screening of a video documenting the two-day activities, produced live by the creative and media division. This was followed by a group photo session to capture the precious moments.

Through this activity, it is hoped that participants will gain valuable experience that is not only for entertainment, but also strengthens the values of togetherness, leadership, and the values of Buddhist teachings.

Finally, we KMB Dhammamitta say Sabbe Satta Bhavantu Sukhitatta . May all beings be happy. Sadhu… Sadhu… Sadhu… Sotthi Hotu, Namo Buddhaya Namo Amitofo
