Jakarta, September 26, 2025 — The Master Ceremony of UBM (MCU), a Student Activity Unit at Bunda Mulia University, successfully held a seminar and meet and greet titled “Kickstart Your MC Journey by Unlocking Your Public Speaking Power” on Friday, September 26, 2025. The event took place at The Premiere Classroom, 2nd Floor, UBM Ancol Campus, and was attended by 50 participants from various study programs.This event aimed to equip students with knowledge and skills in public speaking and the world of Master of Ceremony (MC), while also strengthening the sense of togetherness among MCU members.
The program began with the singing of Indonesia Raya and the UBM March by all participants, led by the MC. It was then officially opened by the Head of the MCU Student Activity Unit. The main session featured a seminar presented by Sir Surianto, S.I.Kom., M.I.Kom., an experienced public speaking practitioner and advisor of MCU. Participants were highly enthusiastic and actively engaged, especially during the question-and-answer session. As a form of appreciation, the committee awarded prizes to three participants with the best questions.
The event continued with the introduction of MCU’s new organizational structure, a group photo session, and ended with a closing statement from the MC. Through this event, it is hoped that MCU members and participants will be more motivated to develop their public speaking skills, become professional and outstanding MCs, and be ready to compete in the professional world. This activity also serves as a concrete step in realizing the vision of Universitas Bunda Mulia.
