Tangerang, April 13, 2025 – Providing support and donations to orphans is a meaningful expression of humanitarian values and religious teachings. Orphans, as members of society in need of attention and care, are highly honored in various religious traditions.

On this occasion, UKR IKAMI (Islamic Student Association) and UKR KMK (Catholic Student Family) successfully held a Visit and Donation Program to an orphanage. This activity aimed to raise awareness and foster empathy within the community towards orphans, as a real form of social concern.

The visit and donation program carried the theme “SPREAD THE BEAUTY OF SHARING” and was held on Sunday, May 4, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM WIB at Kasih Sesama Umat Orphanage in Tangerang. The event began with a bonding session and casual conversations with the children to build warmth and connection. This was followed by fun and interactive games with the children, creating a joyful and friendly atmosphere. As a closing, all participants joined in a prayer session led by the orphanage staff, as a moment of gratitude and hope for a better future. The program was led by Hezkiel Tristan Bramasta, a 4th-semester student from the Communication Studies program at Bunda Mulia University, Serpong Campus.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the management and entire family of Kasih Sesama Umat Orphanage, as well as all committee members from UKR IKAMI and UKR KMK. See you at the next visit and donation event!
