Information Technology at the Master’s Level
Despite the growing demand for advanced skills in the digital era, only 0.45% of Indonesia’s productive population holds a Master’s or Doctoral degree as of January 2024. This low percentage highlights a significant gap in advanced education, especially in the field of technology. Addressing this gap is essential for preparing a competent workforce that can lead innovation and support national progress in a technology-driven economy.
According to the World Economic Forum, roles such as AI Specialist. Data Scientist, and Machine Learning Experts are among the most sought-after professions globally. These roles require dynamic, up-to-date skills aligned with rapidly evolving industry demands. With the projected growth of employment in computer and IT sectors far surpassing other fields from 2023 to 2033, the need for relevant, future -focused education becomes more urgent than ever.
