Jakarta, May 2, 2026 – The Christian Spiritual Activity Unit Jesus In My Campus (JIC) Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus, held the 2026 Easter Love Action activity at the Pondok Kasih Agape Orphanage as part of the 2026 JIC Easter Celebration series with the theme “Perfect Sacrifice: Grace Beyond Measure.” The activity, which took place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM–3:00 PM WIB, was attended by 36 foster children from the orphanage, consisting of children to teenagers. This love action was carried out as a form of commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and an expression of gratitude for God’s grace that always accompanies JIC’s ministry.
This activity aims to embody the values of Christ’s love through service to others, especially to the children at the Pondok Kasih Agape Orphanage. In addition to being a means of sharing blessings through community service, this activity is expected to foster social awareness among the academic community. The theme “Perfect Sacrifice: Grace Beyond Measure” elevates the meaning of Jesus Christ’s perfect sacrifice as the source of salvation and God’s unlimited grace for humanity, which is manifested through concrete actions of service and sharing with others.
Prior to the event, JIC conducted a fundraising campaign involving students, lecturers, and staff of Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus. On the day of the event, the event began with an opening and remarks from JIC representatives, followed by a short prayer service, praise, and a symbolic handover of donations to the Pondok Kasih Agape Orphanage. The event then included various educational and recreational activities with the children, distribution of food and snacks, a group photo session, and a closing prayer. All activities proceeded smoothly, joyfully, and received a warm welcome from the participants.
Through this activity, JIC hopes that the message of Christ’s love can be felt not only within the internal environment of Bunda Mulia University, but also by the wider community. JIC would like to thank BKM, Ormawa Advisor Mr. Manongga Bryan Christian, SE, MM, the entire UBM academic community who have donated, the Pondok Kasih Agape Orphanage, the PPW Team, the committee, and all participants who have supported the implementation of this activity. Hopefully, in the future, the spirit of sharing and service reflected in the 2026 Easter Action of Love can continue to grow and become an inspiration to bring God’s grace into everyday life.
