Tangerang, March 2, 2023 – The Student Senate of the Faculty of Social and Humanities (SEMAFISH) of Serpong Campus organized a seminar on the phenomenon of friendzone among young people entitled “Is It Possible to Get Out of Friendzone?!”. The seminar was held on Friday, February 17, 2023, onsite at The UBM Lecture Hall and was attended by UBM Serpong students and the general public. The seminar aimed to provide education on the friendzone phenomenon that often occurs among young people and how to deal with it wisely in order to maintain good relationships with others and avoid the negative effects of friendzone.
The seminar began with a welcome speech from Angel Permata as a representative of the Student Affairs department. This was followed by a welcome speech from Viona Pricilia, the chairman of the seminar “Is It Possible to Get Out of Friendzone?!”. The event was enlivened by a performance from the UKM The VOU UBM, who sang several songs to boost the participants’ mood. As the participants became more enthusiastic, the seminar continued with a presentation by the speaker, Kak Deska Triani Arifin, S.Psi, who is a content creator and a graduate of Psychology.
During the Q&A session, the participants eagerly asked questions or shared their experiences related to friendzone. The activity then continued with the announcement of the two best questioners.
As a form of appreciation and gratitude for the speaker who presented the material in an interesting way, the SEMAFISH committee awarded Token of Appreciation to Kak Deska Triani Arifin, S.Psi. The seminar ended with a group photo session and closing remarks by the MC.
In conclusion, we hope that this event not only provides more education on friendzone but also brings solutions for students who are facing friendzone situations, both now and in the future, in order to build good relationships with others and avoid the negative impact it can bring.
