Jakarta, May 18, 2026 – BIEMS Theater Ancol, the Student Activity Unit of Bunda Mulia University (UBM) Ancol Campus, successfully held Internal Workshop Vol. 4 with the theme “The Actor’s Mastery: The Way of the Professional” or “Towards Stage Professionalism.” This activity was held on May 11 and 18, 2026 at The UBM Seminar Room (TUSR) and was attended by BIEMS Theater members who wanted to develop their acting skills more professionally. In this activity, BIEMS Theater presented Rangga Pranendra as a resource person, an experienced theater practitioner who has worked as an actor, director, and music director , and has been a BIEMS Theater mentor since 2024.

The workshop was divided into two main sessions focused on hands-on practice. The first session, titled “Emotional and Imaginative Exercises,” discussed the importance of emotional control, emotional processing, and imagination development in developing characters on stage. Through various simulations and creative exercises, participants were encouraged to explore their acting skills more deeply. Meanwhile, the second session, titled “Stage Dynamics,” began with a talk show about the career paths and professional experiences of the speakers, followed by group practice discussing the use of space, setting the tempo of the play, and building chemistry between actors in a performance.

Through this Internal Workshop Vol. 4 , participants are expected to gain insights and practical experience that will serve as a foundation for developing their professional acting skills. This activity demonstrates the commitment of BIEMS Theater Ancol and Bunda Mulia University to supporting the development of student interests, talents, and competencies in the arts and creativity.
