Jakarta – iCare Student Activity Unit of Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus has participated in a National level Training activity which was presented in a Webinar on March 18-19, 2023 with the theme “Basic Principles of Wound Care and Emergency Diabetes Management” held online via Zoom with four representatives from iCare Student Activity Unit of Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus. The purpose of this Webinar is to increase knowledge and understanding about wound care procedures, insight into emergency diabetes management, and is included in one of the pillars of iCare Student Activity Unit, which is Health.
On the first day, it started with an opening from the Moderator from medical media, Ns. Tessa Olivia, S.Kep., M.Kep and then continued with material presentation by several speakers including Mr. Ahmad Efendi Kasim, S.Kep., Ns., SH., MH., CLA, Ns. I Maded Sukma Wijaya, M.Kep., WOC (ET)N, Suriadi, MSN, AWCS, Ph.D, Saldy Yusuf., S.Kep., Ns., MHS.,Ph.D, and Ns. Alimuddin, S.Kep., M. Kep., ETN. On the second day, the material presentation was continued by Mustopa, M.Kep., Ners, Ns. Meta Seprinel, S.Kep, MM, Supriadi, S.Kp., MHS., Ph.D, and Irma Puspita Arisanty, S.Kp., RN, WOC (ET)N.
During the training, we iCare Student Activity Unit gained a lot of useful knowledge that we can apply and share with all iCare Student Activity Unit members and also Bunda Mulia University students about the dangers of diabetes, seeing the high consumption of sugar that we unconsciously consume in daily life, whether it’s during lectures or in the surrounding environment.
At last, all these national webinar activities went smoothly and we also thank the Student Affairs department, iCare advisor, and representatives from iCare Student Activity Unit. Hopefully, in the future, we can participate in national webinar activities again to broaden our knowledge and insight so that it can be applied in the campus environment in the field of Health.
