Jakarta, March 3rd, 2023. The iCare Student Activity Unit of Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus held a Green Campus seminar with the theme “Small Change, Big Difference” held on site on Friday, March 3rd, 2023 in The UBM Seminar Room with 100 participants of Bunda Mulia University Ancol Campus students. The purpose of this activity is to increase awareness among students of the importance of maintaining cleanliness in the campus and surrounding environment, as well as ways to recycle waste into useful items that can be used in daily life.
The event began with an opening speech followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem and the iCare anthem, as well as speeches from the Vice Chairman of the event and the Student Council. This was followed by a presentation from Ms. Wahyuni as the resource person from Kertabumi Recycling Centre. In this activity, some participants were also able to practice and participate in a workshop on recycling waste using tools provided by Kertabumi. The event concluded with the giving of a Token of Appreciation (TOA) to the resource person by Kak Viona, as the Vice Chairman of iCare for the 2022/2023 period, and the distribution of recycled materials from Kertabumi to the lucky participants.
In summary, all the activities of the Green Campus program went well, and we would like to express our thanks to the Student Council, iCare Advisor, all the organizing committees, and all the participants for their time, energy, and cooperation.
