Jakarta, September 18, 2025 – The Student Senate of the Faculty of Technology and Design (SEMA FTD), Bunda Mulia University, Ancol Campus, successfully held a Leadership Seminar and Meet and Greet event with the theme “From Zero to Hero Leader – Everyone Can Learn to Lead.” The event took place on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at the Premiere Classroom, Ancol Campus, and was attended by more than 70 freshmen from the Faculty of Technology and Design.
This program was designed as a platform for students to learn about leadership, engage with the Student Senate board, and foster awareness that leadership is a skill that can be learned by anyone. The theme “From Zero to Hero Leader” reflects the belief that every student has the potential to grow into an inspiring, visionary, and impactful leader.

The event began with registration, followed by the singing of UBM Hymn and Indonesia Raya, and continued with welcoming remarks from the Event Chairperson and the Chairperson of SEMA FTD. The main session featured keynote speaker Dr. Fransiskus Adikara, S.Kom., MMSi., who delivered insightful material on the importance of leadership in the modern era and how students can sharpen their leadership abilities through experiences and the courage to take on roles.
The enthusiasm of participants was especially evident during the Q&A session, which concluded with the presentation of a Token of Appreciation (TOA) to the speaker. The program then proceeded with the introduction of the 2025/2026 SEMA FTD board, interactive games to strengthen teamwork, and a group documentation session as the closing activity.

Appreciation was also extended to representatives of HIMA Informatics, HIMA Information Systems, HIMA Data Science, HIMA Visual Communication Design, and HIMA Interactive Design, who attended and supported the event promotion, helping to encourage more students to take part.
Overall, the Leadership Seminar & Meet and Greet “From Zero to Hero Leader” ran smoothly, warmly, and inspirationally. SEMA FTD expressed its gratitude to all parties involved, including BKM, faculty advisors, committee members, participants, and student organizations, for their support and cooperation. It is hoped that this event will serve as the first step toward nurturing new leaders within the Faculty of Technology and Design at Bunda Mulia University.
